Is home bleaching safe?

Home bleaching systems can't bleach the teeth entirely, leaving spots. In addition, many people are tempted to bleach too long increasing sensitivity problems and often very unsightly result. When a tooth is bleached too much it loses too much pigment and becomes more transparent (looking grey). Professional whitening is much safer and more effective.

 

 

What is considered a dental emergency?

A dental problem would be considered an emergency if the condition involved severe pain or bleeding which could not be controlled by over-the-counter medications or conventional home remedies.
