Dr. Leads has been providing quality, gentle
dentistry in this community since 1991. He is a Vista native who
enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid fisherman.
Dr. Leads received his Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Cell
Biology from the University of California at San Diego in 1983. |

He was then awarded his Doctor
of Dental Science in 1990 from the University of Southern California.
It was there he also received clinical excellence awards in: Oral
Surgery, Periodontics and Prosthetics. He was also selected as
the outstanding graduate of USC for 1990. |

Ron began working for Dr. Leads
in August 2004 and has been an invaluable addition to our staff.
He enjoys working with our great patients and has been working
in the dental field as a Dental Assistant since 1996. |

Gia Scacco
|
Gia Scacco is a Chicago native.
She graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1988 and has
20 years of clinical experience in Dental Hygiene. As an active
member of the Dental Hygiene Association, she keeps current with
her education in order to promote the highest standards of her
profession. She has also been involved with the San Diego Dental
Hygiene society for the past 6 years.
Gia moved to San Marcos in 2003 with her husband and two small
children. She enjoys informing, educating and motivating her patients.
She strives for her patients to achieve and maintain a healthy
goal in their Dental Hygiene. She joined Dr. Leads’ staff
in September of 2007 and is a welcome addition to our office.

Dr. Sigafoos attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in
1971 earning his doctorate degree a short 3 years later. He attended
postgraduate training for periodontics at Temple University and
graduated in 1977.
He has been serving San Diego County for over 20 years. He has given
a number of lectures through out the years for different study groups,
general dentists and hygienists to improve awareness and early diagnosis
of periodontal disease.

Dr. Sigafoos was the first periodontist in San Diego County to
introduce Soft Tissue Management programs. His extensive knowledge
in the field of Periodontics has led to several local and national
television interviews. His efforts to bring periodontists and general
dentists closer together ultimately benefits patients and the entire
dental community.
Dr. Sigafoos is a member of the American Academy of Periodontics
and has participated in numerous study clubs and organizations through
out his years of practice. He has given many lectures and presentations
on successful bone grafting, guided tissue regeneration and cosmetic
gingival grafts.
Dr. Sigafoos and his wife Laura have three children, Matthew, Ashley
and Kristy. He enjoys skeet shooting and has won numerous events
at the regional, national and world competition. At the 1999 world
skeet championships, he placed 2nd in the doubles competition. He
also enjoys motorcycle riding and various water activities.
